Mona Lisa Dakila's Theory of Exclusivity

As Mona Lisa Dakila prepares for her departure from the Kingdom of Babyllonia, she is also preparing to divorce her current jowa the one who sent her bouquets of imported flowers for 7 consecutive days during the courting phase of their onced flourishing relationship. Luckily their marriage took place in the Land of Smiles so Ms. Dakila can divorce her husband any time. Calling attorney Revecca Mugabe, Thailand's most prominent divorce lawyer!

I chanced meeting the tipsy Ms Dakila last weekend at soi 4 looking fresh and bubbly as usual. She joined our table and immediately caught our attention through her intriguing smiles and probing questions addressed to La Gomorra and La Negra. Apparently, this was her means to divert the sadness and emptyness she was feeling inside which La Gomorra immediately realized so she broached the topic on Ms Dakila's love life. Pretending to be listening to the conversation, the already drunk Ms Negra, flirted with the guys on the other tables shouting random names and laughing out loud. She would mention her dear Vova once and a while and lamented over their 'undefinable' relationship status along with the flamboyant Russian lifestyle they are living which is costing her an arm and leg.

Ms Negra's issues aside, Ms Dakila  demands exclusivity in a relationship and her current guy seems incapable to abide by the gal's simple rule. Exclusivity Rule? La Gomorra frowned then rolled her eyes.

"Didn't you just tell me the other day that you were seeing this guy and that guy and then another guy the next  day?" she started the bitching right after she chewed and swallowed a piece of muutot (fried pork), her favorite dish @ Telephone Bar.

"Alex was it." La Gomorra continued and swigged the remaining red wine from her glass.

Martina Negra immediately butted in to Ms Dakila's defense.

"You never know coz you have never been in a relationship before" she said with such a conviction that Rexona was speechless for a while apparently struck by a sudden realization.

"My point is you should only require exclusivity if you practice exclusivity. Exclusivity begets exclusivity! Gets mo?" Rexona retorted as soon as she regained her composure.

Ms Negra who was looking forward to borrowing 3K that night to the always financially stable, La Gomorra, just nodded her head in agreement. She would have wanted to counterargue but the risk of turning a gold into a stone with her words was apparent in the horizon so she just shut up and proposed a toast for Ms Dakila's immediate recovery.

"This is so over!" Miss Dakila said and gulped her Vodka Tonic. She lit a cigarette and puffed a cloud of dark smoke to La Gomorra's direction resulting in the gal's temporary disappearance.

Miss Negra meanwhile began sweet talking La Gomorra and a few minutes later she was holding the 3K in her hand. She hurriedly excused herself and rushed to the nearest K Cash Deposit where she replenished Vova's empty savings account. The Russian was currently in Pattaya enjoying his weekend with his own kind. Earlier that day, Miss Negra had successfully arranged a hot session with a guy from the other side of the river and she was determined to go there to cap her amazing night.

"Spell EXCLUSIVITY...x..k..l.u..c..v..t...T..T" the gal recited smiling as she walked back to her friends' table.

To Ms Dakila, we wish you the best in your next endeavor. We love you! xoxoxo

  4. Now's the time to pick up a book. Shall it be the Leo Tolstoy classic, War and Peace? (Again with Russian references.. pak!)

Or the book, The Art of Letting Go? (Available in National Bookstores nationwide)

    But please, just move on!
